Commercial Manager | Printing Inks Industry
Location: Guadalajara
A leading global manufacturer of printing inks and color solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and operational activities of its local business unit. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, strengthening customer relationships, and maximizing profitability while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the commercial and operational performance of the business unit, including sales, customer service, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and market growth objectives.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer portfolio within the assigned territory.
- Lead, coach, and develop the commercial and operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure efficient inventory management and product availability to support customer demand.
- Monitor operational and commercial KPIs, implementing action plans to improve performance.
- Manage the branch's financial, material, and human resources efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring operational and documentation compliance.
- Prepare business performance reports and present results and improvement initiatives to Regional Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial leadership within the printing inks industry.
- At least 2 years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in sales management, key account management, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, and customer service.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
