We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to ensure TV applications deliver consistent quality and reliability across a wide range of devices. You will define test strategies, run manual and non-functional testing, and partner with cross-functional teams and clients to resolve issues—apply now.
Responsibilities

Define test strategies and determine the right actions to run effective tests

Coordinate testing of TV applications across multiple device types

Diagnose issues and identify root causes on Front End/application or Back End/service platform
-
Perform regression testing, performance testing, integration testing, and other non-functional testing to support successful application deployment

Document and report bugs with sufficient detail and technical requirements to support investigation with VO teams, customers and partners

Set up and adjust the platform to create an accurate testing environment

Automate and maintain tests using robots and test automation frameworks

Collaborate within a cross-functional delivery team to keep quality topics visible and resolved throughout delivery

Partner with clients to communicate quality issues and build strong QA relationships on the project

Maintain and improve QA procedures and standards, including test planning, test data preparation and test automation

Establish performance objectives, analyze results, and track data QA compliance metrics to ensure targets are met
Requirements
-
3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or functional testing
-
Hands-on proficiency with Python development language
-
Working knowledge of Robot framework, DVB, and OTT technologies
-
Solid understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies (ISTQB-based)

Practical familiarity with STB, Android, iOS, and Web applications (installation, usages)

Technical skills in ADB log collection and analysis, Linux, and API testing
-
Expertise in network analysis using Wireshark and Jira tickets management

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with remote teams across different time zones

Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach and self-driven attitude

Innovative mindset with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies
-
Fluent English (B2+ Upper-Intermediate) with strong customer-facing communication skills
Nice to have

Knowledge of Video transcoding, packaging and delivery networks & DRM

Familiarity with test automation tools such as Witbe, Selenium and Appium
