Job Title: NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer Location: Wistron Mexico
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join Wistron Mexico to drive successful introduction and launch of new products into manufacturing. The role is accountable for program management of NPI projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing stakeholder and customer interactions, and ensuring robust manufacturing readiness through clear engineering documentation and PLM processes. The ideal candidate can multitask across multiple concurrent projects, organize and track customer NPI tasks, and maintain comprehensive project documentation from concept through product launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage NPI programs from handoff to mass production, ensuring on‑time, on‑scope, and on‑cost product launches.
- Plan, organize, coordinate and track NPI tasks, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across engineering, procurement, quality, manufacturing, test, supply chain and customer stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
- Advanced English
- 2+ years experience in New Product Introduction, product launches, program management or manufacturing engineering (consumer electronics, OEM, or contract manufacturing preferred).
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience with Engineering Documentation and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) / Change control processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proven ability to create and maintain structured project documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Project or Planner, PowerPoint) and familiarity with PLM/ERP systems (preferred: Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP) and issue/task tracking tools (JIRA, Asana, or equivalent).
- Experience with DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma tools.
