Overview:
Location: General Office, Via Morelos No. 330 Col. Santa Clara Coatitla Ecatepec, 55540 Mexico
Responsibilities:
This person is responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid NOM certificates for the products requested by the
Commercial team, acting as the in-house expert in the certification process for ceramic and faucet products.
Define and execute strategies for obtaining, modifying, and renewing NOM certificates for the products under your responsibility.
Collaborate with internal areas such as Marketing, the Commercial Department, and other departments for the definition and execution of processes.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for products.
Inventory control of ceramic and faucet parts for surveillance sampling, renewal and/or initial product certification by the Product Certification Body (PCO).
Prepare, compile, and review technical files and regulatory documentation for the ceramic and faucet products under your responsibility.
Maintenance of relationships with certifying Entities, such as: OCP'S, Testing Laboratories, CONAGUA, SE, among others
Monitor changes in legislation and regulations applicable to the ceramic and faucet products under your responsibility
Qualifications:
Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or similar degree.
2 or more years of experience working in a similar position.
Knowledge of regulations and regulatory processes applicable to ceramic products and faucets (NOM-008-CONAGUA, NOM- 002-CONAGUA, NOM-012- CONAGUA, NOM-050-SCFI)
Intermediate level English language proficiency - able to hold a conversation in English.
Oral and written communication skills.
Excel management, including pivot tables and data management.
Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Travel: 5-10% of time
