What you'll do...
Command the General Ledger: Autonomously manage and control manual and automated journal entries (US and Mex “GAAP” Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) while executing precise monthly reconciliations to ensure flawless financial accuracy.
Drive Financial Insights: Leverage operating systems to analyze general ledger variances and empower the broader finance team with critical data for month-end close, forecasting, and business plan development.
Ensure Global Compliance: Prepare essential inputs for monthly credit loss reserves and actively contribute to quarterly consolidation schedules for Ford Motor Credit Company’s Securities and Exchange Commission filings.
Safeguard Financial Integrity: Champion risk management and compliance by serving as a key evaluator during the annual internal controls testing campaign.
Streamline Tax Operations: Partner with the tax department by consistently delivering accurate, routine monthly financial data to guarantee seamless regulatory compliance.
Optimize Accounting Procedures: Take ownership of continuous operational improvement by proactively authoring, updating, and refining internal accounting policies and procedures.
