The Assistant Branch Manager is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide banking service to customers according to the current branch processes and procedures
- Assist in creating an environment in which sales, service and operation employees and segment partners excel
- Support portfolio growth by coaching tellers to identify referral opportunities and perform sales/referral activities
- Leverage workforce planning tool to optimize staffing in branches
- Partner with Area Operations Director in the execution of operational goals
- Resolve escalated client complaints/issues
- Conduct "daily proof processes" to ensure adherence to operational requirements; investigate controllable losses among branch staff and ensure the compliance of branch resources and processes
- Fulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Previous relevant experience required
- Register, update and maintain status as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ("Registry") and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
