At Acero Prime, we are committed to ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. As we continue to grow and innovate, we are looking for an experienced and passionate EHS Generalist to join our team and help us drive our environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential hazards.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage the company's waste, hazardous materials, and environmental impact reduction programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Perform safety audits and inspections, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to foster a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- Advanced English language skills are required.
- Recent graduates who have completed internships in safety or environmental areas are also welcome to apply.
- Proven experience in EHS roles (internships or 1–3 years preferred), with a focus on workplace safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, IATF 16949:2016and other relevant standards.
- Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
- Ability to design and implement EHS programs and training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and MS Office Suite.
