We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team, responsible for building, optimizing and maintaining native Android applications with a modern tech stack centered around Kotlin, designing intuitive interfaces and robust backend integrations that provide a seamless mobile experience for users, while collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers and backend engineers to turn feature concepts into high-performing, reliable and scalable Android applications.
Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that adhere to Material Design guidelines

Integrate with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic content and features to mobile users

Write clean, maintainable and testable code

Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high quality standards and share knowledge within the team

Write unit and UI tests to ensure application stability

Profile app performance to optimize speed, battery consumption and memory usage

Assist in preparing and publishing application updates to the Google Play Store
Requirements
-
2+ years of experience in native Android application development

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android SDK

Understanding of modern Android architecture components and design patterns such as MVVM, MVI and Clean Architecture

Knowledge of Dependency Injection with Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow

Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle and Git

Experience with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts

Experience with JUnit and Espresso for testing purposes

Capability to work in an Agile/Scrum team environment and collaborate via tools like Jira and Confluence

English proficiency at B2 level or higher
