About the Role
As part of the fast-paced, passionate marketing team, the Regional Marketing Budget & Operations Lead will focus on overall budget management that supports the regional Consumer Audio marketing department and includes all marketing-related processes concerning finance systems, budgets, purchase orders, vendor management, and invoicing.
The Regional Marketing Budget & Operations Coordinator has direct responsibility to the regional marketing leader, dotted-line responsibility to Group Marketing Operations, and accountability to the Finance Controller. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the budget management process, including but not limited to processing, tracking, and forecasting marketing expenses, creating POs, processing invoices, monthly GR on expenses, updating monthly forecasts, and mapping expenses. This role will be expected to provide the status of the budget and forecast to marketing, finance, and general management on a regular basis and work closely with the marketing team, finance team, accounts payable, and procurement to gain internal alignment.
What You Will Do

Help drive the monthly and annual budget planning process for the Marketing team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Pay to Procure Process Lead: Own the oversight and responsibility of the Pay to Procure Process activities for the Marketing team, including managing the submissions and approvals for all new vendors, budgeting, forecasting, mapping expenses, Garners, POs, Goods receipts, immediate payments, and routing large-scale expenses for executive approval. Provide the team with proactive updates on delays or missing information.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the monthly marketing budget forecast by working with the marketing and finance teams to provide updated and accurate information. Ensure all forecasts match their prior submissions and, if not, work with stakeholders on the rationale for any changes. Manage the budget tracking tool by updating all information in relation to monthly forecasts, monthly goods receipts on expenses, mapping expenses, POs, and Project IDs.

Approval Processes: Manage large-scale expense requests by assisting with rationale & write-ups, providing specific budget information, and routing the final document from submission to approval.

Purchase Order Process: Manage the Purchase Order process by tracking each submission through execution and providing the team with updates on delays or missing information. Work closely with procurement and finance to provide updated information and work through challenges associated with incomplete information, delays, or expedited timelines.

Agency Relationships: Communicate with agency partners to provide information, request billing schedule info, update POs as necessary, and remain actively involved in the process with them throughout

Ad Hoc Data Analysis: Track and update spend data attributes in budget tracking tool and work with teams to cleanse and modify as necessary. Provide ad doc data analysis support to Marketing on Senior Leadership requests as needed.

Training: Assist with training new Marketing hires at the end-to-end Pay to Procure process.
What You Need to Be Successful

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent work experience.

At least 2-4 years’ experience, preferably in a Marketing or Financial environment.

Experience working cross regional/global in a diverse, multicultural team.

Ability to work well with all levels of management.

Extensive experience in Microsoft Office software required, including high proficiency in Excel.

Experienced in working with Business Intelligence/Report tools (SAP, Salesforce).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance.

Independent and team player, fluent in English.

Experience with change management in the areas of processes and systems.
-
Ability to adapt to changing work priorities without loss of accuracy or time.

Good collaboration skills – Ability to effectively collaborate with teams around the world and with leading external partners to achieve goals.
