Job description
Department: Marketing, Communications & PR
Reports to: Chief Communications Officer (CCO)
Location: Home Office – Mexico (Preferably based in Puebla)
Role Objective
Druven is looking for a versatile professional to support the execution of our communication and marketing projects, primarily for our external client accounts. We need a "doer" who can move fluidly between drafting a proposal, developing high-quality content, and pitching stories to the press. This role is about providing consistent follow-through and creative execution to ensure our campaigns are delivered with impact and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Development: Drafting and refining business and communication proposals in both English and Spanish. You will be responsible for shaping ideas into professional, persuasive documents ready for presentation.
- Tactical Integration: Taking approved strategies and building the execution roadmap. You will ensure that all marketing, PR, and content elements are aligned and ready for deployment.
- Content Creation: Developing the actual assets that drive our campaigns. This goes beyond simple writing; it involves creating deep-dive articles, social media narratives, and web copy that maintain a high standard of storytelling.
- Media Outreach & Pitching: Serving as the active link to the press. You will handle the outreach, persistent pitching, and follow-up needed to secure media coverage and build relationships for our clients.
- Reporting & Delivery: Monitoring campaign performance and media mentions to build professional reports. You will be responsible for organizing and presenting these results internally to the CCO, ensuring the value of the work is clearly demonstrated.
Requirements
- Project Development & Execution: Proven ability to take a project from the initial proposal phase through to final delivery. You must be skilled at building timelines, managing workflows, and ensuring every deliverable meets professional standards without constant supervision.
- End-to-End Content Production: Beyond strategy, you must be capable of full-scale execution. This includes the conceptualization, design, and technical delivery of content. You should be proficient in creating visual assets, writing copy, and managing the distribution process through scheduling and posting across various platforms.
- Strategic PR & Outreach: Experience in media relations that focuses on results. This includes identifying the right angles for different markets, persistent pitching, and a solid understanding of how to secure coverage in competitive environments.
- Multilingual Business Drafting: Advanced English is essential. You must be capable of drafting complex business proposals and high-level editorial content that resonates with international audiences.
- Creative Problem-Solving: A naturally organized and resolutive approach to work. We are looking for someone who anticipates bottlenecks, identifies solutions independently, and takes full ownership of the quality of their output.
- Professional Background: 3 to 5 years of experience in agency, PR, or marketing roles with a heavy emphasis on content production and project management. Familiarity with the U.S. market is a significant advantage.
