We are looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Call Center Agent to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while helping coordinate appointments, insurance verification, and patient communication.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle a high volume of calls with a positive attitude while representing the practice’s core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Making outbound calls to patients who have not scheduled an eye exam in over a year
- Schedule appointments and direct patients to the appropriate departments
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, and benefits information
- Provide general information regarding services, providers, pricing, and locations
- Return missed calls and assist patients with scheduling or inquiries
- Communicate updates with front desk and call center teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support daily operations using systems such as Weave, Teams, and insurance portals
- Deliver a positive and patient-focused customer experience at all times
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish both verbal and written.
- Two or more years of call center experience in a voice role
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Requirements:
1. Complete office setup with a quiet workspace. Owns a laptop, or PC with sufficient specs. (Windows only, Intel i5, 8th gen and up) MAC devices are not supported.
2. Available to work during US business hours. Schedule: Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM CST
