Your Team Responsibilities:
Join our Global Strategic Sourcing – Market Data Procurement team in Monterrey and gain hands-on experience supporting a global function that manages the market data, vendor relationships, contracts, and services that support MSCI's business.
Working closely with colleagues in Monterrey and Chicago, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to real projects, interact with global stakeholders and vendors, and develop experience across strategic sourcing, financial markets, procurement, data analysis, and vendor management.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another relevant field, preferably in your 6th semester or later.

Strong interest in financial markets, strategic sourcing, procurement, market data, or vendor management.

Availability to work 30 or 40 hours per week.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
-
Ability to work confidently with data, budgets, reports, and financial information and identify discrepancies or inconsistencies.

Experience with Excel; familiarity with Salesforce, SQL, data visualization, or reporting tools is a plus.

Interest in using AI and emerging technologies to analyze information, improve documentation, automate tasks, and increase productivity.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills and an interest in collaborating with local and global teams.

Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn new systems, processes, and market data concepts.

An interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, and compliance-related work.
