We are looking for an experienced Drywall Estimator to support U.S. residential and commercial construction projects. This is a fully remote position based in Mexico, offering the opportunity to work with a growing U.S.-focused construction team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
- Proven experience in U.S. Drywall Estimating (U.S. project experience preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret U.S. construction drawings, specifications, and drywall scopes
- Proficiency in quantity takeoffs using PlanSwift or similar estimating software
- Accurate in preparing material takeoffs, labor calculations, and cost estimates
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform detailed drywall quantity takeoffs
- Prepare accurate material and labor estimates
- Analyze project scopes and identify potential risks or omissions
- Collaborate with project managers and estimators to support bid submissions
- Maintain organized estimating records and documentation
