Position Overview
An international technology company is seeking Supply Chain Engineers to participate in an international project focused on the supply chain and manufacturing of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies).
The position includes an initial 3-month assignment in Hungary, where the engineer will be responsible for activities related to material planning, inventory control, component tracking, material availability, and coordination of the supply flow required for the manufacturing process.
During this assignment, accommodation, meals, transportation, and travel insurance will be provided.
Upon successful completion of the 3-month assignment in Hungary, there is an opportunity to continue the project in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, with an annual salary of $55,000 USD and TN Visa sponsorship, subject to meeting the applicable immigration requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
PHASE 1 – HUNGARY | 3 MONTHS
- $40,000 – $42,000 MXN per month

- Compensation during this phase will be paid in Mexican pesos under an independent contractor/freelance fee-based arrangement.
PHASE 2 – LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY, USA
- US $4,300 - $4,580 USD per Month
- TN Visa Sponsorship
- Opportunity to continue the project in the United States
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the availability of materials and components required for PCBA manufacturing.
- Plan and track material requirements using MRP/ERP systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate potential material shortages.
- Identify, analyze, and follow up on material shortages that may impact production.
- Track purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery lead times.
- Analyze lead times and component availability to support production continuity.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and suppliers.
- Analyze material requirements based on production plans and demand.
- Monitor critical components and supply risks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information related to materials, inventory, and purchase orders.
- Generate reports and key performance indicators related to Supply Chain.
- Identify opportunities to improve material availability and supply chain efficiency.
- Participate in resolving issues related to component supply and production requirements.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Degree certificate and Professional License are required.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Material Planning, Materials Management, Production Planning, or Procurement.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments.
- Experience in inventory planning and control.
- Ability to analyze material requirements and reorder points, and to establish supply priorities.
- Knowledge of the control of obsolete, scrap, or damaged materials.
- Knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
- Experience tracking purchase orders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of lead times, material shortages, and material availability.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and generate reports.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, SMT, EMS, or the technology industry is preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency – required.
- Willingness to travel and remain in Hungary for 3 months.
- Willingness to subsequently work in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.

- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
- Power BI is a plus.
