The role…
Is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines throughout the purchasing process. In addition, this position actively participates in production planning to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, while contributing to the coordination of shipments. This key role collaborates with various departments to effectively coordinate production.
How you’ll make an impact…
- Administration of the purchasing process for all indirect materials and services required at the plant, in strict compliance with the company’s global and local policies and procedures.
- Ensures proper planning of production orders in SAP and Boehme-Weihs, including all required information, such as material batches based on FIFO, product expiration dates, etc.
- Generation of applicable labels in SAP related to production orders.
- Confirmation of production orders in SAP and verification of the proper consumption of materials.
- Preparation of shipping documents, scheduling, and notification to the IMPO-EXPO department for loading and dispatch.
What do you bring…
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, including the ability to communicate effectively in professional environments, both verbally and in writing, as well as understand technical documents and procedures in English.
- Production planning.
- Materials and inventory management.
- Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
- FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Continuous improvement.
- Cost-benefit analysis.
- KPI (Key Performance Indicator) management, particularly OTIF (On-Time, In-Full).
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities and execution plans.
- 3–5 years of experience in similar Supply Chain positions.
SAP — mandatory.
- Microsoft Office, particularly Excel — mandatory.
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning) — preferred
