Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join a growing, high-performing team that supports clients across the United States. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and contributing to efficient financial operations in a collaborative, remote environment.
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accounting systems
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation of transactions
Support payroll processing and related reporting (if applicable)
Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation
Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience)
At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and U.S. GAAP
Experience with financial statement preparation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple clients or projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and accountability
Client-focused mindset
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
