Job Description:
Monthly Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 MXN
Purpose of the Job:
The Customs & logistics supervisor is responsible for leading the company’s international operations, ensuring full regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery of materials across international markets. This Role plays a key part in supply chain continuity and strategic coordination with
supplier, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and oversee import/export operations for EIS products.
- Guarantee full compliance with customs regulations, international trade requirements, and any other applicable regulations during import/export process.
- Ensure customs clearance processes with brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government authorities.
- Guarantee and follow up on IMMEX requirements and responsibilities to be covered.
- Follow up International and domestic transportation activities, including air, ocean, and ground freight.
- Monitor shipments status, inventory transit, and delivery performance to avoid any supply chain disruption.
- Support stakeholders to ensure new products: tariff classification, taxes, regulation applicable.
- Analyze logistics KPI’s and prepare operational performance reports for management.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to customs delays, transportation disruptions, or compliance issues.
- Lead and oversee annex 24 & 30 to ensure IMMEX continuity
- Lead the customs and logistics team.
Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs operations, international logistics, and supply chain management.
- Strong Knowledge of import/export regulations, tariff classifications, logistic operation, NOMs, IMMEX and VAT certification
- Manufacture experience desirable
- Experience leading people.
- Conversational English level.
- Experience with ERP, preferably SAP 4/Hanna.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
