Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Web Designer/Developer to join our creative team. Responsibilities
- Design and develop a responsive, visually appealing website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups utilizing tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision to visualize concepts and streamline user experience.
- Implement interactive features and motion graphics to enhance usability and engagement, leveraging Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate when appropriate.
- Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) and ensure accessibility standards are met for users with disabilities.
- Maintain and update existing website built on content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint, ensuring security and performance.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design improvements and enhance overall user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop digital marketing assets including email templates, banners, and landing pages aligned with branding guidelines.
- Manage version control using Git or similar tools to track changes efficiently across development projects.
Experience
- Proven experience designing and developing websites with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive designs across devices.
- Proficiency in front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3 (and preprocessors like SCSS or Less), JavaScript (and frameworks such as React or Angular).
- Familiarity with back-end technologies like PHP, Python, Node.js, or SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Skilled in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite tools for visual content creation.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to analyze user behavior and optimize digital strategies.
- Experience with wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Axure to plan site architecture effectively.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability principles to create inclusive digital experiences.
