About WebOps
WebOps is expanding its field operations across Italy and is looking for reliable, independent contractors to support a global business mapping project.
This is not an office job. It is a field-based position where you will spend most of your working time travelling between businesses, collecting information on-site using your smartphone.

What You Will Do
Your primary responsibility is to visit assigned commercial locations (shops, restaurants, hotels, offices, and other businesses) and collect data using our mobile application.
Your daily tasks include:
- Travelling independently between assigned business locations.
- Recording short videos of storefronts and, when possible, inside the business.
- Taking clear photographs following project guidelines.
- Confirming whether the business is open, permanently closed, relocated, or has changed information.
- Answering simple questions within our application regarding the business.
- Uploading completed tasks through the mobile application.
- Following all project instructions and quality standards.
This position requires frequent walking and travelling throughout your assigned area.
Important Information
Before applying, please make sure you are comfortable with the following:
- You will be working independently without on-site supervision.
- You will spend most of your time outside visiting businesses.
- Some business owners or employees may ask why you are recording. You must be comfortable politely explaining the project following our provided guidelines.
- Some businesses may refuse interior recording. You will receive instructions on how to handle these situations.
- Daily travel is an essential part of the role.
- You are responsible for managing your own schedule and transportation.
Equipment Requirements
You must already have:
- An Android smartphone running Android 7.0 or newer.
- At least 8 GB RAM.
- A reliable mobile internet connection.
- A portable power bank.
- Sufficient phone storage for recording videos and photos.
- Basic familiarity with Android applications.
