We are looking for a reliable, organized, and client-focused Legal Assistant to join our remote team and support our attorneys and legal staff.
About the Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative and client support to our immigration law team. You will communicate directly with clients, assist with gathering information and documents, maintain accurate case records, and help ensure cases move forward efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable speaking with clients, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
Previous immigration law experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients professionally and courteously by phone, email, and SMS
- Make outbound calls to clients to request information, provide updates, and follow up on outstanding documents
- Respond to client questions and route legal questions to the appropriate attorney or legal team member
- Assist with collecting, organizing, and reviewing client documents
- Follow up with clients regarding missing or incomplete information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and case notes
- Assist attorney with case preparation and administrative tasks
- Prepare, organize, and maintain case files and supporting documentation
- Enter and update information in CRM and case management systems
- Monitor case tasks and deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
- Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to support efficient case progression
- Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client experience
Qualifications
- Immigration law experience is required
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable making and receiving phone calls throughout the workday
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Experience with CRM or case management software preferred
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
- Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining client confidentiality

Pay: $18,514.84 - $20,261.52 per month
