About Us: We are a growing water delivery business providing reliable, top-tier service to our customers. We are looking for a highly organized and communicative Customer Service & Administrative Assistant to serve as the point person for our daily operations.
The Role: You will be the primary voice and point of contact for our customers. This role requires someone who is comfortable spending the majority of their shift on the phone system, managing client communications, and handling administrative back-office tasks.
Please note: This position will begin as a part-time role but is expected to scale quickly into a full-time position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls and make outbound calls to customers regarding their water delivery schedules.
- Manage a high volume of text message communications promptly and professionally.
- Deliver exceptional, friendly customer service and resolve client inquiries.
- Input, update, and manage customer data accurately using spreadsheets.
- Generate and send custom quotes and invoices to clients.
- Process customer payments and maintain organized billing records.
Requirements
- Exceptional Spoken English: This role requires 100% verbal communication in English with US customers. Highly clear, intelligible spoken English and excellent conversational clarity are mandatory.
- Written Proficiency: Strong written English grammar and spelling for professional texting and email communication.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable navigating spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel), CRM platforms, and payment/invoicing software.
- Organization: Highly punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Workspace: A dedicated, quiet home workspace with a reliable high-speed internet connection and a noise-canceling headset.
Schedule
- Hours are flexible, however should be during normal business hours in US Eastern Time. Weekend hours are desirable.
- Must be available to work on US Eastern Time.
