We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support the launch and ramp-up of a new manufacturing operation. This role will be responsible for leading daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while developing and coaching production teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience supervising sewing or cut-and-sew manufacturing operations, with a hands-on leadership style and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in sewing, apparel, textile, cut-and-sew, or industrial sewn products manufacturing highly preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
- Visa available for business travel for training.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop production operators and team leaders.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet customer requirements.
- Support production startup activities, pilot runs, and line ramp-up efforts.
- Ensure compliance with standard work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials teams to resolve production issues.
- Track production performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Knowledge
- Industrial sewing operations and production flow.
- Experience with industrial sewing machines, including lockstitch, overlock, double-needle, and bartack equipment.
- Knowledge of fabrics, webbing, threads, and sewn product assembly processes.
- Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred.
