Responsibilities:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
Develop deep expertise in diagnosing complex software issues and delivering timely resolutions.
Support and guide colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of business systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and innovative solutions.
Analyze recurring problems to propose strategic changes that improve system reliability and user satisfaction.
- Manage SAP user access provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning activities across SAP landscapes.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP roles and authorizations in SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and integrated applications.
- Administer SAP GRC Access Control processes, including access requests, role approvals, firefighter management, and workflow administration.
- Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) risk analysis, mitigation reviews, and compliance assessments.
- Coordinate with business process owners, role owners, and auditors on access governance and authorization requirements.
- Review and implement role changes, role redesigns, and authorization enhancements through Change Requests (CRs).
- Analyze and resolve authorization-related incidents and service requests.
- Conduct user access reviews, role recertifications, and audit support activities.
- Support SAP Fiori and Build Work Zone access management and troubleshooting. BTP build work zone, BTP cockpit, IAS,IPS knowledge.
- Collaborate with development teams to define authorization concepts for custom applications and enhancements.
- Drive stakeholder communication and provide status updates on incidents, service requests, change requests, and project deliverables.
