We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer & AI Adoption Specialist to serve as the connective link between our large-scale cloud platforms and our developer community.
Your core mission is to speed up onboarding, training, and broader adoption of modern DevOps tools and AI-driven workflows (such as GitHub Copilot). This position calls for a candidate with a strong technical grounding in DevOps and cloud principles, paired with exceptional communication abilities. If you have a passion for technical writing, creating instructional videos, running workshops, and coaching developers on using generative AI to write, troubleshoot, and configure infrastructure and pipelines more efficiently, this opportunity is well-suited for you.
Responsibilities

Build, roll out, and maintain structured onboarding paths, interactive learning modules, and self-service resources for developer teams working with our platform

Produce clear, well-organized technical documentation, quick-start guides, FAQs, and release notes using Markdown and internal wiki systems

Write, film, and edit concise, engaging video tutorials that walk developers through DevOps tools and workflows

Advocate for the adoption of AI-powered engineering tools throughout development teams

Coach development teams on effectively leveraging AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot) for generating code, resolving configuration issues, and streamlining infrastructure and CI/CD processes

Lead live training sessions and organize hands-on workshops to strengthen developer skills with platform tools

Conduct technical "Office Hours" to collect developer input and resolve recurring questions

Cultivate an active community of practice centered on DevOps tools and AI-enhanced workflows

Represent developer perspectives, converting their challenges and feedback into practical platform requirements

Partner with core DevOps and Infrastructure teams to communicate platform enhancement needs derived from developer feedback
Requirements
-
At least 5 years of professional experience in Developer Relations (DevRel), Developer Advocacy, Technical Training, or Technical Writing, with a strong emphasis on DevOps/Platform Engineering

A minimum of one year of experience leading and managing teams

Strong grasp of modern DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), fundamental cloud infrastructure, and version control systems

Demonstrated portfolio showcasing technical writing abilities (documentation, blogs, guides) and/or technical video production (screen recordings, tutorials)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills combined with a genuine service-oriented approach and enthusiasm for supporting fellow engineers

Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher
Nice to have

Background working with static site generators, Markdown, or publishing platforms

Practical experience applying generative AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT) for development work, code troubleshooting, or generating documentation

Familiarity with Ansible for managing configurations and automating routine processes

Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Azure Containers

Working knowledge of Bash for scripting and automating system tasks

Hands-on experience with Docker for building and managing containerized applications

Understanding of Kubernetes for orchestrating and scaling containerized workloads

Experience using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure through code
