This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit located in Saltillo, Coahuila, México.
Summary (About this Position):
Electrical Technician performing test in our Validation Test Laboratory.
Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in troubleshooting
- Implement continuous improvement projects
- Maintain system documentation
- Perform standard engineering test measurements according to standards.
- Prepare test samples according to methods and/or standards.
- Record test data
- Maintain housekeeping/safety standards
- Prepare and analyze test reports documenting the sample preparation, test methods, equipment, and conditions.
- Test samples disposal as required.
Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts
- Interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Results-orientation and execution characteristics
- Analytical thinking
- Knowledge using bench test equipment (DMMs, Calipers, Micro ohmmeter, power supplies, DAQ, etc.)
- Intermediate level of English (reading and writing).
Your Preferred Background (i.e. Nice to Haves):
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechatronic engineering or similar
- Experience in electrical measurements in a Laboratory environment
- 1+ years’ experience in automotive industry validation laboratory environment
- Familiarity with Automotive Products Validation Process and Terms.
