Role Overview
We are looking for Spanish–English Medical Interpreters to join our growing team. Opportunities are available on a Freelance, Part-Time, or Full-Time basis for Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) assignments.
Whether you are an experienced interpreter or looking to start your career in medical interpretation, we encourage you to apply. No previous interpreting experience is required. Candidates without experience will complete a 10-day unpaid interpreter training program before onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and impartial interpretation between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Apply medical terminology and interpreter ethics during every interaction.
- Handle sensitive healthcare conversations professionally and accurately.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and remain available during assigned shifts.
Candidate Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English.
- No previous interpreting experience required.
- Willingness to successfully complete the 10-day unpaid interpreter training program.
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
- Excellent communication, listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
- Comfortable working remotely.
- Must successfully pass the Language Proficiency Test (LPT), technical check, and background screening.
Remote Work Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A quiet workspace free from distractions.
- USB wired headset.
- Plain white T-shirt (required for video calls).
- Laptop or desktop computer with:
- Intel Core i5 (8th Generation or higher)
- Minimum 8 GB RAM
- 1080p webcam
- High-speed wired internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload).
- Solid grey background for video calls.
