Job Summary**
As an IT Mobility Asset Analyst at FLSmidth A/S, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of our mobile IT assets, ensuring their efficient deployment, tracking, maintenance, and secure disposal across the organization. This role plays a key part in optimizing our mobile technology infrastructure and supporting our global workforce.
Job Responsibilities**
- Manage the entire lifecycle of FLSmidth's mobile IT assets, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other portable devices, from procurement to retirement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all mobile IT assets, including location, user assignment, warranty information, and service history.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repair, and disposal of mobile devices, ensuring adherence to company policies and budget.
- Oversee the deployment and configuration of mobile devices, including operating system imaging, application installation, and security policy enforcement.
- Provide support to end-users for mobile device issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, connectivity issues, and application support.
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, ensuring proper device enrollment, policy compliance, and security updates.
- Develop and maintain documentation for mobile asset management processes, policies, and best practices.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new mobile technologies and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations pertaining to mobile devices.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate mobile assets with existing IT infrastructure.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in IT asset management, specifically with mobile devices.
- Proficiency with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro).
- Strong understanding of various mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows).
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting for mobile devices.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse user groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management best practices.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
