We are looking for an organized Senior Business Analyst to become part of our engineering department. In this capacity, you will serve as the essential bridge connecting our business stakeholders with our software development teams. Your core focus will be understanding intricate business challenges, examining existing workflows, and drawing out thorough, high-quality requirements that our engineers can readily convert into functioning software. You are someone who enjoys probing the "why," exploring data, charting out processes, and making sure the engineering team's output delivers genuine value to the business.
Responsibilities

Work alongside business units, product managers, and users to collect, refine, and record thorough functional and non-functional requirements

Examine existing "as-is" business processes, pinpoint pain points or inefficiencies, and craft improved "to-be" workflows to streamline operations

Convert business needs into clear, structured user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, applying Gherkin/BDD where suitable, for inclusion in the development backlog

Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams and business units, enabling smooth communication and managing expectations across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Work with Quality Assurance (QA) and business users to confirm delivered software aligns with original business requirements, including assistance with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst within an IT or software development setting

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for breaking down complex systems and processes into clear, logical components

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, with hands-on experience working within sprint cycles

Skilled in documenting requirements and workflows using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, or comparable platforms

Background in Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail sectors

Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
