As a Design Process Engineer, you will drive the execution of new product launches and capacity expansion initiatives, developing strategies that optimize both product design and manufacturing processes. What You Will Do
- Lead new product launches and capacity growth projects, ensuring on-time delivery and value generation.
- Develop and implement replicable, efficient manufacturing processes using risk assessment and capacity planning.
- Collaborate from early concept through production, leveraging lessons learned to drive productivity and automation.
- Act as a technical expert in problem solving, guiding root cause analysis, corrective actions, and cost reduction during product introductions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, schedules, and workflows to meet financial and operational targets.
- Guide the development of workflows, layouts, and pilot runs; coordinate troubleshooting and support handover to operations.
- Facilitate process assurance by generating and reviewing PFMEAs, managing ECNs/PCNs, and ensuring compliance.
- Champion continuous improvement programs including 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanics, or a related field.
- Very strong proven experience in project coordination and execution within both automated and manual manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record in leading projects focused on automation and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, manufacturing methodologies, and troubleshooting for product and process transfers.
- Upper-intermediate English (B2): capable of effective technical communication and collaboration with global teams.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with control systems, vision systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with SAP, standard time calculations, Poka Yoke systems, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement process improvements for both manual and automated machinery.
- Experience supporting product launches and transformation initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
