We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant to join an accounting firm specializing in restaurant clients. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong full-cycle accounting experience and a background working in accounting firms handling multiple clients simultaneously.
The ideal candidate has experience as a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant, is highly organized, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle accounting for multiple restaurant clients
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and monthly reports
- Process journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Review and maintain AP/AR records
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and client procedures
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial data within QuickBooks
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience as a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant
- Previous experience working for an accounting firm required
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting
- Experience handling multiple clients or entities simultaneously
- QuickBooks Certification required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop
- Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with restaurant accounting is highly preferred
- Advanced English communication skills preferred

Pay: $175.00 - $220.00 per hour
