At LS Cable & System, due to our plant expansion, we are looking to add a Jr. IT Specialist to our team, with experience in network and server administration, focused on ensuring the operational continuity of the company’s technological infrastructure.
This position will support the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of corporate networks, servers, and IT services, providing assistance to internal users and supporting the organization’s technology projects.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 25 to 33 years old.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in networking and server administration.
- Mandatory experience with: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN.
- Mandatory: Experience managing physical servers.
- Active Directory.
- Firewalls and network security.
- Corporate technical support.
- Intermediate/advanced technical English.
- Availability for incident response and operational support.
- Ability to commute.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and monitor LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain switches, routers, and access points.
- Manage, update, and operate servers.
- Manage Active Directory, users, permissions, and access policies.
- Perform monitoring and preventive maintenance of servers and services.
- Handle second-level technical incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
- Execute backups and validate data recovery processes.
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software.
- Document procedures, configurations, and incidents.
- Support infrastructure, security, and technology improvement projects.
