WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work. We are currently the #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list and have maintained a spot in the top four on Glassdoor’s list since its founding in 2009.
Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join the Bain Capability Network (BCN), an integral and largest unit of Expert Client Delivery (ECD), which adds value to Bain case teams globally by supporting analytics and research solutioning across industries, specific corporate domains, client development, private equity diligence, and Bain intellectual property. BCN comprises Consulting Services, Knowledge Services, and Shared Services.
Within BCN, you’ll work with the Customer Center of Expertise (CoE), part of Bain’s expert client delivery network. The Customer CoE supports Bain’s pricing, commercial excellence, marketing, and customer experience projects by co-developing and delivering pricing products, designing go-to-market strategy solutions, and improving customer experience through client-specific analysis and solutions.
The CoE develops products and delivers solutions that help clients identify and fulfill full potential across the sales and customer journey value chain, from problem identification and solution design to implementation and capability transfer. You’ll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with continuous innovation and learning, meaningful professional development opportunities, and global exposure to experts, Bain teams, and clients in an inclusive, collaborative, and fun-loving team culture.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Commercial Pricing Technology & Analytics Lead within the Customer CoE, you’ll drive client impact by combining technical problem-solving with pricing expertise. You’ll own workstreams, deliver client-ready outputs, and contribute hands-on to analytics and solution design while coaching junior team members.
This role blends individual contribution and leadership. You’ll bring strong technical skills and business acumen to support client projects and new intellectual property development, working under the guidance of the CoE Manager or Senior Manager. You’ll play a key role in output delivery, client communication, team management, and helping the team adapt to project expectations and evolving client needs.
For high performers, the CoE also offers global transfer opportunities and a range of development opportunities for those who enjoy problem-solving in an analytical environment.

- Lead end-to-end workstreams within client projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, error-free analysis and client-ready outputs.
- Own hands-on analytics, solution design, and structured problem-solving for pricing, commercial excellence, and customer-focused business problems.

- Work with leading large language model providers and APIs, such as OpenAI and Anthropic, and evaluate and integrate model offerings into real workflows.
- Build grounded and scalable AI applications using prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation architectures, vector databases and embeddings, tool-calling, and function orchestration.
- Design and build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs that support GenAI and agent workflows, using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP when deploying AI systems in production, where relevant.
- Coach and mentor Associates and Analysts on technical problem-solving, structured delivery, and professional development, including performance discussions and written reviews for appraisal as required.
- Brainstorm with the BCN Manager or Senior Manager and Bain consulting or specialist teams on various aspects of client projects and new intellectual property development.
- Drive conversations through analytics, using data analysis and story-lining to prove or disprove hypotheses in the best interest of the client or project.
- Understand client and project needs, help the team adapt to evolving expectations, and support effective client communication.
- Support other CoE-related activities, such as recruiting, training, and events.
