We are currently looking for a Chemical Planning Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Job Objective
Manage the planning and supply of chemicals required for production by ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage chemical requirements based on production demand and inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory coverage and forecast material requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
- Generate and follow up on purchase requisitions and supplier deliveries.
- Track materials in transit and support inventory optimization.
- Support engineering changes related to raw materials and formulations.
- Maintain accurate planning data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Inventory Planning within the automotive industry.
- Experience with SAP, MRP, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with raw material planning.
- Knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.
- Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing environments.
