is responsible for:
· Financial planning and budgeting;
· Rolling forecasts;
· Management reporting;
· Budget execution monitoring;
· Business performance analysis;
· Profitability and manufacturing cost analysis;
· Cash flow and working capital analysis;
· Financial modeling and decision support.
The position is not responsible for:
· Bookkeeping or transaction processing;
· Preparation or approval of accounting entries;
· Account reconciliations;
· Ownership of the monthly accounting close;
· Statutory financial reporting;
· Accounting policy or accounting compliance reviews;
· Detailed review of provisions, accruals or account classifications;
· Tax return preparation or review.
Accounting closing, financial statement preparation and accounting compliance responsibilities remain under the Finance Manager and Accounting team.
The FP&A Analyst may identify unusual financial movements during performance analysis and communicate them to the Finance Manager, but does not independently approve or review accounting treatments.
