Position Overview
This is a triple-threat role for a Registered Nurse who can:
- Code with precision – Ensure OASIS accuracy and ICD-10 coding compliance for optimal reimbursement
- Sell with confidence – Drive patient referrals and build relationships with physicians and community partners
- Lead with impact – Supervise and support remote clinical and administrative team members
Spanish or Chinese speaking is highly preferred to help us connect with diverse patient populations and referral sources in California.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Coding & OASIS:
- Review and audit home health clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and CMS compliance
- Analyze OASIS assessments (OASIS-C2, OASIS-E, OASIS-E1) to ensure correct coding and appropriate reimbursement
- Assign accurate ICD-10 diagnosis codes based on clinical documentation from field clinicians
- Ensure documentation supports HHRG and PDGM billing models
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to clinicians on documentation improvements
- Stay current with Medicare regulations, OASIS updates, and evolving coding standards
Marketing & Sales:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new patients and increase referral volume
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living communities
- Conduct virtual sales presentations, cold calls, and email outreach to promote our services
- Serve as the primary liaison between Everest Peak and potential referral partners
- Track and report on sales activities, referral conversion rates, and market intelligence
Management & Leadership:
- Supervise and support remote clinical and administrative team members
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, billing coordination, and compliance
- Optimize operational efficiency, patient flow, and revenue cycle processes
- Analyze performance data and patient feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with leadership on business expansion and quality initiatives
What You Bring
Required:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license (any country – Philippines, Mexico, Colombia, or other)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Home Health OASIS review and coding within a U.S. home health agency setting
- Proven expertise in OASIS (OASIS-C2, OASIS-E, or OASIS-E1) and ICD-10 coding
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare sales, business development, or marketing
- Prior supervisory or management experience
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable in a fully remote work environment
Preferred (Highly Desirable):
- Spanish fluency (spoken and written) – to connect with Spanish-speaking patients and referral sources in California
- Mandarin or Cantonese fluency – to connect with Asian-American communities in California
- Active medical coding certification (CPC, COC, CRC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or HCS-D)
- US RN license
- Experience with home health EMR platforms such as WellSky (Kinnser)
- OASIS certification (COS-C)
