Our client provides a complete range of drilling and mining services. With operations expanding they are looking for the following positions for several vacancies to work on a major project in Africa.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the drill rig and crews whilst delivering safe drilling operations and client expectations
- Consistently apply exceptional drilling practices and techniques
- Ensure personnel compliance with the companies HSE regulations and site specific rules
- Training of local employees
About You
- 7 years’ experience in RC drilling is required
- At least 5 years in the mining or contracting fields
- RC or Multipurpose drilling experience
- Proven experience in either RC exploration or Multipurpose Drilling
- Booster and Auxiliary experience essential
- Mechanical knowledge/background and a willingness to learn
- Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
- Demonstrated ability to empower local communities and hold 'cultural awareness' in high regard
- Working experience with diverse cultures with diverse cultures is preferred and must be able to communicate in English
- Be able to pass a pre employment medical
- Ability to obtain a work permit in Africa
