Gualapack Mexico - Corporate Information Systems Systems Engineer:
Description
As part of the Corporate IT team You will be involved in global activities such as:
o maintenace activities of the network infrastructure, on-premises datacenter, telecom systems, ensuring reliable, secure and cost effective delivery of services to the Business
o new Corporate IT initiatives and projects,
o evaluating new technologies and defining architectures and IT standards

ü Full Smart working or at the Mexican Gualapack site; required to travel occasionally to the facilities based in America
Main responsibilities
ü Overseeing assigned projects, coordinating internal resources and external consultants, ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
ü Help defining technical requirements for new hardware and software
ü Coordinate local Helpdesk teams, in America, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when they arise.
ü Support international plants (mainly in America) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when they arise.
ü Monitoring systems in the existing global network, ensuring efficient operation
ü Implementing best practices to guarantee system security
ü Anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions.
ü Stay up to date on technology developments and propose innovative solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies
ü Installing and configuring operating systems and application software.
ü Help in designing the global network architectures, system improvements and defining IT standards
ü Communicating effectively with the headquartered team
Required skills and education
ü Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information systems, engineering or related field.
At least five years of experience in administration of:
- Complex WAN network infrastructure and routing protocols
- Server and infrastructure equipment
Deep Knowledge and experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting the following systems:
- VMWare based virtualization
- Microsoft Windows (client and server)
Deep knowledge and expertise in
- best practices and IT tools to monitor, manage and guarantee high cyber security level
- Active Directory and GPO
Project management
ü Ability to work under stress, meeting assigned deadlines
ü Proactive approach
ü Ability to work independently but as part of an international team
ü Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ü Willingness to travel
ü Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face). Excellent English is mandatory
ü Strong interpersonal skills to interact with different teams
