About the Role
We are seeking a Senior SRE Production Support Engineer to join a global Media Technology team supporting large-scale media production and content management environments.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and media application support who enjoys working in fast-paced production environments.
You will help support and improve critical media systems used for video editing, production, and content management while driving automation, observability, reliability, and operational excellence across the platform.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain media technology applications and production environments
- Administer media production workstations and associated software stacks
- Drive automation initiatives and CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams
- Develop scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
- Support cloud-based and distributed computing environments
- Document architecture decisions and technical solutions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale production environments
- Strong experience with media applications such as Avid, Adobe, and/or ProTools
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Puppet or Chef
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms:
- Datadog
- Splunk
- Nagios/OP5
- Strong Linux and Windows administration experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Scripting experience with Python, Node.js, or Perl
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, Firewalls, F5)
- Experience with Git/GitHub
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Media, broadcast, or entertainment industry experience
- Cloud certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
