MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the weekly management of planning and scheduling requirements, ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining predefined finished and semi-finished product inventory levels.
This role is key within the scheduling department to optimize network capacity and ensure the achievement of service, inventory, and cost targets.
As a Material Planner, you will oversee the factory planning process, maintain Bills of Materials (BOM), and ensure optimal placement of purchase orders for raw materials and packaging materials.
You will work closely with Procurement and suppliers to manage material arrivals in line with the production plan, avoiding shortages and carefully controlling inventories of raw materials, WIP, and packaging.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Knowledge of material planning principles (MRP, inventory models).
Ability to manage the planning cycle, overseeing the generation and release of dependent demand to the supply base.
Oversee the creation and release of purchase orders for packaging materials and raw materials required to execute the production schedule. Directly manage the scheduling process.
Effectively communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. Manage inventory levels (NFG) to meet plant and category targets.
Ensure suppliers comply with all material specifications, analyzing their performance using Procurement tools.
Lead or facilitate scheduling and manufacturing meetings as needed.
Manage relevant KPIs and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields
1–2 years of experience in Planning, Logistics, or Manufacturing, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or automotive industries
Advanced English (mandatory)
SAP (Production module P1P) experience is preferred
Strong Excel skills
Power BI (desirable)
Understanding of MRP and planning processes
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
