Coordinate and execute import and export transactions in accordance with applicable customs and trade regulations.
Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Coordinate border crossing activities and customs clearance processes with customs brokers and carriers.
Generate and validate commercial invoices and supporting documentation for international shipments.
Maintain effective communication with warehouse, logistics, production, purchasing, and other departments regarding shipment status and material requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact with U.S. and Mexican Customs Brokers.
Monitor import and export transactions to ensure compliance with IMMEX, Annex 24, Annex 30, and other applicable foreign trade programs.
Support inventory control activities related to customs compliance and trade regulations.
Maintain, reconcile, and monitor customs inventory control systems.
Perform transaction audits and reviews to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Manage virtual operations and ensure timely completion of related requirements.
Monitor transportation activities to ensure timely shipment departures and deliveries.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company retention policies and regulatory requirements.
Support fixed asset inventory control and customs compliance activities, as required.
Contribute to departmental objectives, continuous improvement initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
Track, analyze, and support departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Support compliance activities related to PROSEC, Rule 8th (Regla Octava), and other authorized foreign trade programs.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of compliance records, reports, and filings required by applicable regulatory authorities, including the Ministry of Economy, as applicable.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Communicate and escalate compliance, quality, or operational issues to management when necessary.

Bachelor's Degree in International Business, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in import/export operations within a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.
Experience in customs compliance, inventory control, and foreign trade operations.
Working knowledge of IMMEX Program requirements and Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera).
Experience with Annex 24 and Annex 30 inventory control and compliance systems.
Experience managing or supporting virtual operations and customs inventory reconciliation processes.
Knowledge of PROSEC, Rule 8th (Regla Octava), and other applicable foreign trade programs preferred.
Experience supporting Annual Reports and other compliance obligations before the Ministry of Economy preferred.
Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to work effectively with customs brokers, carriers, government agencies, and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, verbally and in writing is desirable.
Availability to travel as required.
