A Warehousing Specialist at MIDEA is responsible for overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role involves inventory management, process improvement, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
What you will do?
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy on a daily basis through regular audits and cycle counts. Ensure proper storage and labeling of products to facilitate efficient retrieval and distribution. Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
- Warehouse Operations: Planning and organizing warehouse layout and workflow to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency. Implement and maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, and manage material transfers between different warehouses.
- Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and deliveries.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse environment, conducting routine inspections to maintain operational safety and equipment functionality. Also train warehouse staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Technology Utilization: Manage ERP system activities (material entries and location changes).
- Customer Service: Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and address any warehouse-related customer inquiries or issues.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and warehouse activities. Prepare reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance metrics.

What are we looking for?
- 1+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, or logistics.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Basic English.

- Inventory Management: Understanding inventory control methods, including First In, First Out and Just-In-Time, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
