Your role
- Ensure projects move efficiently through the system with visibility, prioritization, and operational discipline (workflow controller and lab coordinator)
- Coordinate the overall flow of projects by tracking progress, monitoring all active projects, updating project statuses, managing timelines, ensuring workflow visibility, identifying delayed projects, detecting bottlenecks, monitoring workload distribution, and supporting project prioritization.
- Support operational planning by organizing weekly planning activities, providing visibility into workload and weekly execution plans, coordinating resources, managing laboratory occupancy and resource allocation for projects, overseeing product tastings, and ensuring customer deadlines are met.
- Provide administrative operational support by maintaining project information in the CX system, preparing monthly operational reports, and organizing technical documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities by participating in and taking responsibility during RCT meetings, following up on customer requests, monitoring raw material availability, and tracking dependencies with other departments, including Flavor Development, Marketing, and Sensory Analysis.
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks by monitoring overloaded applicators, raw material shortages, delayed projects, capacity risks, and issues that require escalation to management.
About you
- Experience in the flavor or ingredients industry, with a background in project management, application laboratories, and Research & Development (R&D).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related engineering or chemical sciences field is required.
- Language: desirable English proficiency at C1 level
- Strong technical knowledge is required in project workflow management, including brief management, stage-gate processes, innovation pipelines, and commercialization processes. A solid understanding of the flavor industry is also essential, including the flavor creation process, application development process, customer briefs, regulatory requirements, and sample manufacturing.
