The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing Trade Marketing strategies across all commercial channels, including Modern Trade and Traditional Trade. This role translates brand and commercial objectives into customer and shopper activation programs that drive profitable growth, increase market share, expand distribution, and deliver best-in-class point-of-sale execution.
Reporting directly to the Business Director, the Trade Marketing Manager leads the commercial execution agenda, category management initiatives, channel visibility strategies, and customer planning activities, helping position Energizer as the preferred category partner across retailers, wholesalers, and traditional trade customers.

Translate brand and commercial objectives into actionable channel strategies and execution plans.

Develop the "Picture of Success" and establish best practices for in-store execution and visibility.

Drive flawless execution of promotional campaigns, temporary displays, and new product launches.

Lead category management initiatives using shopper insights and market analytics.

Develop compelling category growth stories for key retail partners.

Lead Category Line Reviews and support Joint Business Planning initiatives.

Design and implement channel-specific visibility solutions, secondary placements, and customized display programs.

Support sales teams with high-impact merchandising materials and POP solutions.

Manage the Trade Marketing budget efficiently, maximizing ROI across promotional investments, displays, and merchandising materials.

Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Brand Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless commercial execution.

Support strategic planning and commercial review meetings.

Develop channel-specific Go-to-Market strategies, promotional mechanics, and trade toolkits tailored to wholesalers and traditional trade customers.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and shopper behavior to proactively recommend commercial actions.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

3–4+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Commercial Execution within the FMCG, CPG, or Pharmaceutical industries.

Proven experience managing Trade Marketing budgets.

Experience leading Category Line Reviews and retail execution initiatives.

Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in:

Working knowledge of syndicated data platforms such as Nielsen and ISCAM.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience using retailer data portals.

Demonstrated success developing Trade Marketing strategies for both Modern Trade and Traditional/Wholesale channels in Mexico.
