About the role
As a Scheduler Planning RC, you will develop and release the short-term production schedule for Replacement Components (RC), ensuring on-time compliance with the production plan while monitoring the supply chain to anticipate and prevent disruptions to production flow. You'll also guide Supply Chain support employees, setting day-to-day goals and supporting continuous improvement across order and procurement execution.
Key Responsibilities
As a Scheduler Planning RC, you'll be responsible for:

Building the daily RC production schedule, sequencing part numbers to minimize operational disruptions across material supply, tooling, and assembly

Managing order entry, backlog administration, and the production plan

Monitoring and driving actions to prevent or reduce impacts to planned production volume and sequence due to material shortages or production constraints

Adjusting the production schedule based on material supply constraints, production and maintenance restrictions, special customer requirements, and, when strictly necessary, production delays

Releasing the daily schedule to Production, Line Supply, Material Expediting, and Logistics teams, communicating manufacturing sequence and relevant information

Ensuring customer requirements are met on time (required week/day) and in accordance with the production plan

Answering hot requests, special orders, and questions on engineering, pricing, and other cross-functional concerns

Supervising Supply Chain support employees, setting day-to-day goals and objectives, and supporting root cause analysis and process implementation

Guiding Supply Chain teams on order and procurement execution and monitoring adherence to standards and protocols

Actively participating in new product introduction projects, supplier changes, and engineering changes per passport process

Tracking Attainment metrics, logging findings and process escapes, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing standard solutions where possible

As a minimum you must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and specialized technical/operational knowledge

Intermediate English proficiency

Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office

Knowledge and/or experience with MRP/MPS (SAP)

3 to 5 years of experience in Production Planning
-
Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

Prior supervisory or team lead experience

Experience in manufacturing/automotive industry

Advanced English proficiency
