Resumen: Is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure the availability of materials, components, and services required by manufacturing operations. Responsabilidades:

Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives, production requirements, and supply chain strategies.

Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop local and international suppliers based on cost, quality, capacity, technology, delivery performance, and financial stability.

Lead RFQ, RFP, and supplier bidding processes, including technical and commercial evaluations.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, tooling costs, freight conditions, and commercial agreements.

Develop and implement cost-reduction and cost-avoidance initiatives to support annual savings targets.
-
Conduct cost analysis, price benchmarking, market analysis, and supplier comparisons to identify sourcing opportunities.

Support supplier localization and dual-sourcing strategies to reduce supply chain risk, transportation costs, and lead times.

Monitor supplier performance through KPIs related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service, and Responsiveness.

Coordinate supplier development and corrective action plans when performance does not meet established expectations.

Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans to ensure continuity of manufacturing operations.

Partner with Engineering and Quality teams during new product introductions, engineering changes, supplier qualifications, and material substitutions.

Support make-versus-buy analysis and sourcing decisions for new and existing products.

Participate in supplier business reviews and lead commercial discussions with strategic suppliers.

Analyze commodity and market trends to anticipate price fluctuations, shortages, capacity constraints, and potential supply disruptions.

Maintain accurate purchasing and sourcing information within the company's ERP/MRP systems.

Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

Provide sourcing reports, savings tracking, supplier performance information, and project status updates to management.

Coordinate multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while meeting cost, quality, and implementation deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing, Commodity Management, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.

Experience working with metalworking, sheet metal, fabricated components, electrical components, plastics, packaging, raw materials, or industrial services is highly desirable.

Strong experience in supplier negotiations and cost reduction projects.

Experience managing local, U.S., and international suppliers.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.

Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier-management skills.
