JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce Frontend Lead to design and deliver scalable, high-performance storefront solutions. This role is responsible for leading frontend architecture, implementing modern UI patterns, and ensuring best practices across Adobe Commerce (Magento) environments. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with hands-on leadership, driving frontend quality, performance, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable frontend architectures for Adobe Commerce storefronts (Luma, Hyvä, PWA Studio, headless or hybrid).
- Translate UX/UI designs and business requirements into high-quality, maintainable frontend code using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Drive frontend performance, accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and enforcing frontend standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with backend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery and resolve frontend issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of frontend development experience, including 5+ years with Adobe Commerce (Magento) and 2+ years with Magento 2.x.
- Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3+, JavaScript (ES6+), and Adobe Commerce frontend architecture (theming, layout XML, UI components).
- Experience with modern frontend approaches such as Hyvä, PWA Studio, or headless architectures, and integration with GraphQL APIs.
- Adobe Commerce Frontend Expert Certification (AD0-E728) required or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
