Job Description
Planner Buyer
The Planner Buyer is responsible for managing raw material inventory based on purchasing activities, ensuring optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and support uninterrupted production. This position is also responsible for planning production according to customer orders received through the system and providing effective follow-up to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the Open Orders Report.

Send the Open Orders Report and priority list to the Production team.

Process new customer orders in the system.

Monitor and follow up on expedited orders through shipment completion.

Review system-generated purchase proposals for raw materials.

Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability for production.

Collaborate with suppliers, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to support operational requirements.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Advanced English proficiency (required).

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.

Advanced Excel skills.

Schedule flexibility and availability.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Knowledge of production planning and control.

Advanced knowledge of materials management.

Advanced knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.

Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping processes.

Knowledge of quality management systems.

Knowledge of APICS standards and methodologies.

Experience in purchasing, procurement, and supplier management processes.
