Job Summary**
The Logistic Trainee will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role supports the logistics team in optimizing material flow, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery of components and finished goods.
Job Responsibilities**
- Assist with daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound material movements.
- Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and data entry.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to ensure smooth material flow.
- Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles to logistics processes.
- Assist in preparing logistics reports and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to warehousing, transportation, and material handling.
- Help maintain accurate logistics documentation and records.
- Support the implementation of new logistics systems or processes.
- Understand and adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts is a plus.
- Prior internship or related experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong asset.
