We are seeking a Chief Java Full Stack Engineer to build and support AI-driven, agentic checkout capabilities across commerce services and UI components. Responsibilities

Lead architecture and delivery of backend services for commerce domains such as payment, loyalty, and promotions

Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs to support checkout experiences

Design guardrails, validations, and integrations that enable AI-driven and agentic checkout flows
-
Coordinate cross-functional execution while ensuring alignment during Pacific Time overlap

Ensure scalability, reliability, compliance, and operational readiness of services

Develop and support ReactJS front-end components needed for full stack delivery

Apply Anthropic Claude Code in production workflows to improve delivery speed and quality
Requirements

7+ years Java/Spring Boot backend development experience

Production experience building ReactJS front-end components
-
Strong experience designing REST APIs and microservices

Lead-level ownership for architecture and technical decision-making

Commerce domain experience supporting checkout and related systems

Cloud platform experience with GCP and/or Azure

Practical production experience with Anthropic Claude Code

Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2, Upper-Intermediate)

Pacific Time overlap availability until at least 4pm PST
