Job objective:
Ensure that the process complies with established quality specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience supervising personnel.
- Basic English proficiency.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, problem-solving methodologies, MSA, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and SPC.
- Knowledge of nonconforming product management, corrective actions, and process audits.
- Strong color discrimination ability, validated through a Hue Test.
- Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain communication regarding nonconforming products with the immediate customer.
- Implement and ensure the proper execution of the inspection plans established by Quality Management.
- Ensure consistency between Control Plans and shop-floor documentation.
- Ensure the proper disposition of nonconforming products.
- Implement the required containment actions within the assigned area.
- Ensure the calibration of measuring equipment within the assigned area.
- Stop the production line in the event of quality issues.
- Develop the team through the personnel competency certification system and conduct performance evaluations to support their professional development.
- Ensure that quality criteria for new programs are clearly defined and communicated.
- Fulfill the responsibilities established in the Layered Process Audit procedure and conduct process audits.
- Solve problems using methodologies such as Corrective Actions, providing evidence and completing assigned activities accurately and on time.
